Obituary of John Andrew Lawson

John Andrew Lawson, 65, of Farm View Road, Morgantown, WV went to be with the Lord on March 17, 2016. He was born on March 12, 1951 in Morgantown, WV. He worked for WVU Housing and Residence Life in the maintenance department for many years until his retirement. He was an avid hunter, fisherman, and outdoorsman. He is survived by his wife, Marilyn Cech Lawson, son Andrew Lawson of Pittsburgh, PA, stepson Alan Sullivan, wife Chrissy Sullivan, and grandchildren Joey and Casen Sullivan all of Cool Ridge, WV. He is also survived by sister Doris Jean Lawson Wilson and husband Ralph Wilson of Morgantown, sister-in-law Belinda Lawson of Wilmington, NC and her children Melvin DeBose and Kelly Hines both of Wilmington, NC, aunt Rose Anne Lawson of Walnut Creek, CA, uncle Fred Lawson of Springfield, VA and many cousins, nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his mother Anna Hastings, stepfather Lynn Hastings, Jr, father George Thornton Lawson, brother Robert Alan Lawson and grandparents George and Hollie Lawson.
