Melanie, Nick and family - We're so sorry to hear about the loss of Connie. She was such a great person to have as a neighbor and friend for so many years. We'll miss her kindness and good humor; she was so special to us. Our prayers and sympathies are with you.
Although I never met Constance, I know her son Nick to be a fine man. I and my colleagues at the Canada desk in the State Department send our deep sympathy to the family.
