I remember Loretta from the years that I attended Harner Chapel. The minister at that time initiated small group sessions to study Rick Warren's (new at that time) book, "The Promise Driven Life." I opened my home for a "Women Only" small group. While I acted as hostess, Loretta served as our group's leader. She always loved the Lord and her church, and I learned much from her during those weeks. She taught me by example how to direct a small study group, how to pray effective prayers, and through her encouragement, I gradually overcame my fear of leading group prayers. She touched many lives and will be missed by many who knew her.
