I was unaware of Dr. Obenauf's passing. In 1990, Dr. Obenauf was my advisor in secondary education. She was decades ahead in her thinking on science education and helped me connect with Greenbank and the National Science Foundation. It had not only a huge impact on my teaching, but for my hundreds of students as well. I'm grateful for the opportunity to learn from Dr. Obenauf and want the family to know how much I valued the time I spent with her. God bless you all.

I was unaware of Dr. Obenauf's passing. In 1986 I visited the campus of WVU and met Dr Obenauf in the College of HR&E and she advised me about the doctoral program.
I began the program in January, 1989 and had Dr. Obenauf for at least one course. She was a warm and caring teacher, and please accept my sincere condolences. She is not forgotten.

Thank you, Dr. Obenauf, for helping to change my life for the better. It is hard for me to accept you leaving WVU, but your life was a blessing to so many, and it was a giving life that will always be remembered. It was an honor for me to get to know you and work with you as I completed my doctoral degree. I am so sorry that I could not attend your service, as I am residing in South Carolina now. During the date and time of your service, my thoughts were on you and also on your family.
May God keep you in his care in heaven, and I pray that your close friends and family will also be graced with God's comfort. I believe that you are in a different realm right now and answering a different calling. Your thoughts and wisdom were a great gift to me, and I will always consider knowing you as one of the many blessings in my life.

I knew Dr. Obenauf through Church and also through WVU. She was a wonderful, thoughtful person who will be missed a lot. I'm happy she is with the Lord. She was truly a servant to many folks and now has Eternal Happiness.
