James Allen Tritchler, 82, of Morgantown, passed away Saturday, February 4, 2017 at his home in Brookhaven surrounded by his loving family.
Jim was born on November 4, 1934 to the late Bernice (McCord) and Wilbur Tritchler.
A loyal employee of Sterling Faucet Company, Jim’s career spanned over forty plus years, retiring in 1996. He was an avid sports fan who loved golfing, bowling, and spending time with his family and friends. Jim never met a stranger and always had a smile for everyone.
Jim is survived by his loving wife Georgetta of 60 years; daughters, Darcia Koller of Tyler, TX, and Shirley Toothman of Grant Town; son, Scott and his wife Tanya Tritchler of Brookhaven; five grandchildren, one great-grandchild; and a sister and brother-in-law, Shirley and Paul Henry of Cuyahoga Falls, OH.
The family would like to give a special thank you to Tracy Danser and hospice.
Friends and family will be received at Hastings Funeral Home on Saturday, February 11th from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the funeral service at 1:00 p.m. with Pastor Craig Falkenstine officiating. In keeping with his wishes, following the service, cremation will be provided by Hastings Funeral Home, Omega Crematory.
