I was so sorry to hear of your mother's passing. She was far and away my favorite of the Holmes family. She always carried herself with dignity and poise. Please know that Annie and I are thinking of you and Dave in these difficult times.

Please accept my sympathy. I remember how kind your Mom was to me and my family. We moved to Morgantown, when I was in the third grade. We lived in the 2nd floor apartment on Beechurst and your Mom worked for the kitchen remodeling store downstairs. She graciously watched me before and after school along with you! I even remember spending the night @ your house. Your parents were very special people and I know they passed all those good qualities on to you!
I met Elsie when I worked for Dr. Stephen Powell at Regional Eye Associates. I enjoyed our short visits when she came in for an appt. and thought I would never see her again once I retired. Thankfully I ran into Elsie at Dollar General a few years ago and again about a year ago and she gave me the biggest hug ! What a wonderful lady she was and how blessed you were to have her as family! Deepest sympathy to family and friends.
