Obituary of Thomas Edward Aglinsky
Thomas E. Aglinsky, 81, of Morgantown was welcomed Home on May 11, 2017 at his residence. He was born on March 24, 1936 to the late William and Josephine (Stankus) Aglinsky.
Tom grew up in Osage and lived in Star City. He served honorably as a tank commander in the Army just after the end of the Korean War, and somehow got lucky enough to be stationed in Hawaii.
Tom is survived by brothers William Aglinsky of Star City, Victor Aglinsky (Ohio) and sister, Rosemary Palmer (Maryland). He will be greatly missed by a number of nieces, nephews, and friends.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sisters Betty (Aglinsky) Wayne and Catherine (Aglinsky Perla) Whitmer; sister-in-law, Jacqueline (Plevich) Aglinsky, wife of Victor; and brother-in-law, Bennie Palmer, husband of Rosemary.
Family and friends will be received at Hastings Funeral Home, 153 Spruce Street, Morgantown, on Monday, May 15th, from 10 a.m. until the time of the service at 12 p.m. with Fr. John V. DiBacco officiating. Interment will follow at East Oak Grove Cemetery.
