Dear Ann and family,
My heartfelt sympathy at the loss of your beloved Bob. I will always remember his kindness and generosity. My thoughts and prayers are with you during this difficult time. May the loving memories you have of Bob bless you with peace, comfort and strength.
My dad, Joseph Zito, and Mr. Sausen served together in US Navy Squadron VPB-106 during WW II. They kept in touch throughout the years after WW II. I remember reading Mr. Sausen’s Christmas card notes wherein I learned about his beautiful family. I had the pleasure of meeting the Sausens at a US Navy Reunion in 2008, the only reunion my dad attended. It was quite a thrill to see them re-unite after all those years. My dad has since passed but I continue to attend the Navy reunions in his memory. The Sausens took me under their wings and treated me like family. I will be forever grateful for their love.
Sending my deepest sympathy, condolences, prayers and love,
Carol Zito

Although I only saw him a few times, I enjoyed talking with him and playing cards with him. He was a wonderful man. May his memory be a blessing.

Sue and I send our sincere condolences to the Sausen family. Dr. Sausen was one of the main reasons that the WVU School of Dentistry stressed such high quality dentistry from it's students/graduates which could easily be matched up against any dental school in the country. God bless. Harry Rohrer, Class of 1967
