Marlene Fern DeWitt, 73, of Morgantown, passed away Tuesday, August 15th at her home. She was born January 31, 1944 in Mather, PA, a daughter of the late Gilbert and Bertha Hughes Sisler.

She is survived by her husband of almost 54 years, William "Bill" DeWitt; children, Laurie DeWitt, William F. DeWitt, Jr. and his wife Larissa, and Thomas G. DeWitt, all of Morgantown; grandchildren, Taylor Alexis DeWitt and Emma Grace DeWitt; and great grandson, River. She is also survived by her siblings, Gilbert Sisler, Jr., Roy Sisler, Linda McIntyre, and Barry Sisler.

In addition to her parents, she is also preceded in death by her twin sister, Arlene, sisters, Elsie Mae and Patsy, and brother, William.

Friends and family will be received at Hastings Funeral Home, 153 Spruce St., Morgantown on Friday, August 18th from 4 PM until the time of the funeral service at 7 PM with Rev. Vicki D. Sheppard officiating. In keeping with her wishes, cremation services will be provided following the service.
