Obituary of Ralph Edward Trickett

Ralph Edward Trickett, 85, of Grafton Road, passed away on September 1, 2017 at Home Away from Home Assisted Living Center in Grafton, WV.

Ralph was born in Gladesville, WV, on February 14, 1932, the son of the late James Walter & Carrie Pearl Rogers Trickett.

Ralph was employed at the Mon County School Board for many years.  He was an avid Mountaineers and Steelers fan and enjoyed hunting and fishing.  He served in the Korean Conflict.

Ralph is survived by his wife of 61 years Shirlee; son, Steve & wife Kim Trickett;  daughter, Sherry Howell; grandchildren: Katelyn Trickett, Steven Trickett, James Howell, Stephanie Menendez; and a sister, Margaret Phillips.

In addition to his parents, Ralph was preceded in death by his grandson Chris Howell; brothers: Robert, David, and Charles Trickett, and sisters: Hazel Sobol and Alberta Lyons.

Friends and family will be received at Hastings Funeral Home, 153 Spruce St., Morgantown, on Monday, September 4th from 11 AM until the time of the funeral service at 2 PM with Pastor Marty Turner officiating. Interment will follow at Gladesville Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, donation may be made to the family to help defray expenses.
