My favorite memory of Mrs. Christopher is from the time that Steve “Pags” Pagliaroli and I visited Chris several years ago. Christy and Scott were building a house and Lauren was just a little girl. Chris, Steve and I went to Mrs. Emaline's house. She had asked Chris to come by for some reason; pick up something, move furniture, or something. When we got there she had a spread: Pancakes, sausage, biscuits, bacon, anything and everything you can ask for breakfast. I remember her even apologizing for not having grits for the Southern boy (not sure if she just did not have grits at the time or if she did not use them). We left full, of love, as well as food. I will never forget that morning and her “welcome to the family attitude.” She was a great lady, and my family is blessed for me knowing her and the sweet notes she would write about my children in the Christmas cards every year. You are a wonderful addition to Heaven Ms. Emaline, and you will be missed on Earth. Save a place for us.

It is very hard to put into words the joy Aunt Emaline brought to our lives. Uncle Perry was blessed to have shared his life with her. She was ALWAYS such a positive influence. Through good times and bad she was a gracious lady. We loved her.

Emaline was a wonderful and caring person. She was always very kind to me as a child. I loved going to her house. I'm sure she will be terribly missed! Much love to all family.

So sorry to hear if your loss. She was such a lovely, lively LADY. You were always made feel so welcome in her home that was a great thing for a 5th grader in a new School. I think she helped make an impact on my life and that helped me to get where I am today! I hope that everyone feels as welcome at my home! Love-Monica
