I just was told about Beth's passing by one of her dearest friends, Sue Scoggins. We all went to St.Benedict's and St. Gertrude's together. I remember Beth as always being a strong person, a compassionate person; and I remember she always spoke her mind.
What a beautiful tribute her daughter wrote...I cried it was so touching. Beth would be/(IS) so proud; but she Always was proud of her "babies". I know she was a super Mom; and I know she gave good guidance to those she counseled with point on observation and insight; and with much concern. I am so proud of the woman she became; and what she was able to accomplish with her family and with her career in a time when women were in transition to become fully the persons that they were.
Even though we "lost touch" over these many years, I remember her fondly.
So sorry for your loss; and, I will consider her one of my angels to watch over me until I get to see her again. Hugs to ALL, Brenda (Hudgins) Hayes
