Obituary of Jonathon Wayne McFadden
John W. McFadden, 54, of Morgantown, passed away Tuesday, November 21, 2017 at home surrounded by his loving family. He was born August 9, 1963 in Morgantown, a son of the late Frank and Loretta (Dalton) McFadden.
He worked for over 30 years at R&H Construction and recently at Dalton Boys Concrete. He loved hunting, fishing, camping and most of all having cookouts with his family.
He is survived by his loving wife of 33 years, Kay; one daughter, Katie Mayle and her husband Chris; one son, Willie McFadden and his fiancee Tammy Dalton; and one grandson, Joshua Mayle, who was the apple of his eye. He is also survived by three siblings, Ruby Dalton and her husband Bill, Butch McFadden and his wife Barb, and Randy "Jingles" McFadden and his wife Marianne and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, he is also preceded in death by his grandparents; a sister, Anita Summers; and a special nephew, Davey Dalton.
The family would like to extend a special thank you to WV Caring Hospice nurse Carrie Buzzo for being their angel.
Friends and family will be received at Nicholson Chapel Church, Summers School Rd., Morgantown on Friday, November 24th from 6 PM until the time of the funeral service on Saturday, November 25th at 2 PM with Pastor Francis Nicholson and Pastor Elmer Nicholson officiating. Interment will follow at Nicholson Chapel Cemetery.
