I have known Mr. Callen for many years. He was one of the greatest men I had ever met. He will be missed greatly and left a legacy that will never fade. Every once in a while you meet someone that makes a difference in your life. To me he was that man. RIP

I knew Mr. Callen through Wanda Harman in Petersburg. While talking to him, I found out that he knew much more about my mother's family cemetery on North Mountain than I did. He was truly a remarkable man. All his family has my sympathy.

Steve, Jr., Mike, and other family members. I was very saddened to hear of your dad's passing. My dad, Doan Harman who passed away in 1991, introduced me to your dad so I have known him for a long time. He was a very good friend of mine, and I am going to miss our telephone conversations. He inspired anyone with whom he came in contact and was most knowledgeable about anything being discussed. He especially loved to converse about education, which was also my profession, and new concepts being introduced. He seemed to know everyone and never forgot their name. In our last conversation just a couple weeks ago, he mentioned that if the Good Lord let him live until this January he would be 93, but he was called home and is now in heaven. You have our deepest condolences.

To all of Uncle Andy's family - I am so sorry for your loss. He lived a very long life but I know you will miss him. He was a wonderful, wonderful man. He was a part of my life for many years. He was my uncle but only 14 years older so we (my sisters and I) had a lot of fun with him. As our families grew we drifted apart but stayed in touch. He was very generous by allowing us to stay at the house at the lake when we visited Morgantown. It meant a lot to my family.

A fine man is gone. I am so very sorry for that, but I am glad he was with us for a long life. My sympathy goes to Stephen, Michael, Annette, and Sharon and their beautiful children.
