Obituary of Jack Milton Clise
Jack Milton Clise, 92, of Star City passed away Tuesday, December 26, 2017, at his residence.
Jack was born on April 14, 1925, in Morgantown, the son of the late John Peter Clise and
Madelyn Metz Clise.
He graduated from University High School in 1943 and was an Arizona State Graduate, Served
in WWII as a Tailgunner on a B-17 in Europe, Jack was a former Coal Miner and was retired from The Department of Energy, He was a 65 year member of The Christian & Missionary Alliance Church and a Elder Emeritus. He helped build the Suncrest Little League Fields at Krepps Park in 1966 and was a long time coach.
Jack is survived by his loving wife of 71 years, Doris Nicholson Clise; his children: Jane Dinardi and husband David, Linda Solomon and husband Bill, and David Clise and wife Rosanna; Grandchildren; Chrisi Mason and husband Bill, Kimi Keener and husband Brian, Matt Solomon and wife Jessica, Jacob Soloman and wife Emily, Adam Clise and wife Brittany and David Clise; Great Grandchildren; Elijah Mason, Kendall Mason, Owen Mason, Gabriel Solomon, Chase Solomon, and Baylee and Abigail Keener.
Family and friends will be received at The Christian & Missionary Alliance Church, 308 Elmhurst St. on Wednesday, December 27th, from 5-8 p.m. and again on Thursday, December, 28th, from 11 a.m. until the time of the service at 12 p.m. with Pastor Doug Miller and Reverend David Goodin officiating. Interment will follow at Lawnwood Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Jacks memory to CMA Church, 308 Elmhurst St. Morgantown, WV 26505.
