Roy Keith Bell, 64, of Morgantown, passed away Wednesday, January 10th at his residence.  He was born May 10, 1953 in Tampa, FL, a son of the late Col. Homer C. Bell, Sr. and Ada Elizabeth (Burnside) Bell. 

 

He attended Suncrest United Methodist Church and was a graduate of Morgantown High School.  He was also an active member of the Special Olympics. 

 

He is survived by his siblings, Homer C. Bell, III and his wife Judy of Greensboro, NC and Elizabeth Bell Davis and her husband Robert of Morgantown; nephews, Clark Bell and his wife Beth of Greensboro, NC, Brian Bell of Wilmington, NC, Jeramie, Jack, and Joseph Davis of Morgantown; and great niece, Raeghan Bell of Greensboro, NC.

 

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by a sister, JoEtta Bell.

 

Cremation arrangements have been entrusted to Hastings Funeral Home, Omega Crematory.  A celebration of his life will be held at a later date. 

 

Memorial donations may be made to Suncrest United Methodist Church, 479 Van Voorhis Rd., Morgantown, WV 26505 for the Respite Care Program or the Monongalia County Special Olympics, 400 Mylan Park Lane, Morgantown, WV 26508.
