My sincerest condolences to the family. We can never prepare ourselves for the loss of a dearly loved one...please look to the God of comfort for strength and comfort during this most difficult time (Isaiah 25:8).
This is a great loss. I have lived across the street from her for almost all of my life. My thoughts and prayers are with her son Vernon and her family. If you need anything I am still across the street.
