Lori im so sorry to hear of your mom's passing. It's one of the hardest thing I had to do was.let my mom go. I still miss her every day. Would like to talk to you sometime, I miss you! Love Edie.
Theestle was an amazing, beautiful, take charge and caring woman. She spent many days working in the Ladies Auxiliary to the Veterans of Foreign Wars (now the Veterans of Foreign Wars Auxiliary) for our Veterans and their families. She was an institution at VFW Post 9916 of Westover, having been President there and of District 2. She always had time to talk and help others. My deepest condolences on her passing. I will spend the next hours remembering her with a smile and some tears, while commemorating her life.
I regret not being able to attend the visitation and funeral, I will always remember her fondly and think of her every Wednesday!
She made my mom a gold and blue scarf which is one of her most treasured items. She has it on during all WVU games.
I know she is with all of the family and friends who left before her in Heaven and pray for those who are left to grieve her loss and hope you can carry on the bingo tradition in her loving memory.
I will request a moment of silence in memory of her tonight!

I am so sorry for your loss. I am sure the adjustment to life without Theestle here to call, check in on, have her tell you to be careful.... will be difficult. I pray as time goes the hardness, the sadness, the adjustment will be filled with wonderful memories and a knowledge of how fortunate you have been to have a loving mother and grandmother. Imagine what it will be like for her to watch over you from Heaven but for her to be free from worry (there's none of that in Heaven!) as she does!

The picture is lovely, The sparkles reflect her. She was well loved and had a loving family. May all of you be blessed with a lifetime of memories. I know that Elizabeth Dayton is praying for all of you. She too is 92 and know that life is the memories you make during your lifetime. She will be missed.
