Obituary of Frances Melba Scarcelli

 

Frances Scarcelli, 96, of Westover, passed away Wednesday, March 28, 2018 peacefully at home.

 

She was born on December 20, 1921, in Connellsville, PA, the daughter of the late Salvatore “Sam” Filippone and Edith Filippone. 

 

She is survived by her daughters Patricia Callen and fiancée, Jim Buchanan, Kris Kullman and husband, Greg, Janet Scarcelli, and Cathy Scarcelli; six grandchildren, Melissa Carlucci and husband, Art, Michael Callen and wife, Ashley, Chad Callen and wife, Brittany, Johnathan Kullman, Sarah Benzo, Matthew Kullman; two great grandchildren, Madison and Brandon Carlucci; and two sisters in law Jeanette Marra of Star City, and  Mary Barill of Michigan.

 

Frances was preceded in death by her husband of 60 years, Antonio Scarcelli, and two brothers, James Filippone and Andrew Filippone.

 

In accordance with her wishes, cremation services will be provided by Hastings Funeral Home, Omega Crematory and a private Graveside Memorial Service at St. Mary Peace Mausoleum at a later date.
