To June, Ed, Zach, Nicole, Michelle and Kaya Cesa,
I wasn't sure where to begin, but I felt it important that I share memories of Tonya for you to reflect on in the difficult months and years to follow.
Tonya started helping me when she was about 14. She joined the Cesa sisters helping on Caterings. I remember in the beginning she and Kayla would laugh the entire time. I remember thinking, how much joy, silly ness and life in those two. and not enough work. And forget it if I added Michelle to the mix. And that is how these beautiful young ladies where with one another all of the time. You could see a bond among them that was impenetrable. Now please don't get me wrong occasionally I'd see the cat fights. Mostly, when it was a long day and we where all tired. As the girls began college there was less time for them to work together for me. But Tonya remained and I could see her making her way in this world. We where together a lot, so we talked.
I always asked her about her Mom and Dad and how all of her sisters where. And I loved listening because her stories always began " Om my God, Holly, listen to what I did this week....." I can remember thinking how young she was and unafraid to go on different adventures. The story of her breaking down 100 miles into a road trip in the truck she had just bought, how excited she was when she got Duke, Trips to babysit v Zach and Rebecca's baby. I guess I just wanted you to know how much she loved you and how much in her short time here she lived life. I will sincerely miss her and all of her stories and quirks. I feel so blessed because of her and her sisters they taught me its okay to have fun and laugh...this is the only time you have with one another. I will miss her so very much, but I will hold on to my memories. I hope this brings you comfort and that you know Tonya is an Angel!

To the Cesa family, Tonya worked for me at Vanity back in 2015-2016. She has the most vibrant heart of anyone I've ever met. She made Saturday mornings at work tolerable and always helped. It broke my heart to hear the news of her passing at such a young age. She lived her life in the freest way, and had the most beautiful smile. I am so thankful I had the chance to know her, and see the young woman her parents raised so well. Words can't describe how sorry I am, and sadly won't heal your pain. I do hope you can find some peace that she is with our Lord. God bless you in this time.

I was shocked and saddened to hear about the passing of my second cousin, Tonya. Although I didn't know her that well, I knew that she was raised by two very decent and loving parents, Ed and June. My condolences to the entire Cesa family.

I was Tonya's English teacher and am so saddened by this news. Tonya was a wonderful student, a vibrant girl, who had a deep love for horses. She wrote her term paper on how horses are abused in the Kentucky Derby and it was a heartfelt, well-written piece.
She will be missed.
With deep condolences to friends and family,

I want to give my condolences to Tonya's family. I had the pleasure of having Tonya as a student this past semester and the love and passion she had for family, friends, and life were self evident in her demeanor and the art she chose to make and talk about. We did a mapping project and Tonya mapped where all of her family members lived. She talked about how her family was close knit and how much they meant to her so I can only imagine how you felt about her. It was a pleasure to have her in my class and you have my sincerest condolences on the loss of such a beautiful life.
