It is with great sadness to learn of the passing of my father's last surviving sibling.
My dad, Charles A Hodge (Shorty) died in October 2004 and then my mother passed away May 2010.
All of our love, thoughts and prayers are with you. Cherish all of the wonderful memories.

Hello, Betty Jean, I was so sorry to hear that your dad passed away. Aunt Sue told me. She wanted to come over but with her dialysis it leaves her weak, but she wanted me to let you know she’ll be thinking of you all. She has dialysis tomorrow so won’t be able to attend funeral. Joseph Frank Hodge was one of my heroes. He was the father of my niece-in-law Betty Phillips and his devotion and hard work to helping his grandchildren growing up and in school is a model for caregivers - wherever they may be. Watching him load a small trailer with band instruments and banners and flags for yet another school competition its a much loved memory for me. Welcoming me to Beaumont Drive as an extended family member will remain with me always. Frank, I miss you.

Mr. Frank was a very special person to me. He would come up to Ashbrooke Mini Mart every morning. He would be the one that kept the coffee brewing. He never missed a day of it. He kept our coffee bar going. The first thing he would ask me is "How is Mark?" (my husband) he always asked me that no matter what. We would have lots of long talks. I learned a lot from Mr. Frank. I could be having a bad day and he would always say "It will be alright". He would get his routine lottery tickets, cup of hot chocolate and he would head home. I looked forward to seeing him. He made our days at Ashbrooke Mini Mart special ones. I know that he is not in pain no more & is happy now. Him and his wife can be together now. Love you Mr. Frank.
