I’m so sorry to see that your mom passed. This is a very hard time. My mom passed on March 20th, 2018.

I grew up next door to the Parenti’s and have great memories of hanging out with Mike, Fred, Kevin & Patti. Ginny & Joe were good folks and if every community had a Parenti’s garage for kids to hang out at, the world would be a better place.

Growing up as a teenage boy in the area ,I ran with her sons and a group of 5-6 guys that were always together. She would let us have Poker games on Friday nights and kept us in line. I thank her for being like a Mother Hen to us.

Please accept my condolences on the passing of your lovely mother. I have so many memories of being in the Parenti home. It truly was like my second home.
Patti and I were always together as young girls, either playing games, riding bikes, playing Barbies, playing the family organ or playing Dress Up with Ginny’s high heels, dresses and jewelry.
I loved being with the Parenti family. I remember visiting at Christmas time and also, hanging out in Joe’s garage, especially when he got the pop machine!! Ginny and Joe were wonderful people.
I remember Ginny being soft spoken except when it was time to call her kids home. There were no cell phones back then. Ginny and my mom would call for their kids by yelling their names as loudly as they could. Although Ginny and my mom were equal in volume, Ginny would always put her signature whistle at the end of her call. It was classic Ginny Parenti.
Ginny was a very sweet lady, and I’m so glad she was a part of my childhood.
