Obituary of Robert Lee Wilson
Robert Lee Wilson, 87, of Morgantown, passed away on Monday, February 4, 2019, at Madison Center. He was born in Clarksburg, WV, on September 20, 1931, the son of the late Kenna James Wilson and Stella May Vernon.
Robert graduated from Liberty High School in Clarksburg and went on to graduate at West Virginia University. He was a veteran of the Korean War and retired from WVU Health Science Center as Manager over the Carpenters' group.
He is survived by his loving wife, Nancy Pauline Wilson; daughter, Debbie Wilson married to Dana Keith of Morgantown; Debbie's son, (Robert's grandson), Scott Cutlip married to Sarina of Morgantown; two great-grandsons (Scott and Sabrina's), Logan and Brody; Debbie's daughter (Robert's granddaughter), Tabitha Cutlip of Morgantown; one great-granddaughter (Tabitha's daughter), Paige Eddy; Dana's daughter, Meghan Straface married to Sarah Straface of Morgantown; two great-grandchildren (Meghan and Sarah's children), Lilla and Luca Straface; Dana's daughter, Bethan Keith married to Steve Crumpler of Colorado; son, Neil Wilson married to Lynn Miller-Wilson of Morgantown; Neil's sons, Marcus Wilson married to Pam Wilson of Morgantown, and Travis Wilson of Morgantown; Lynn's sons, Chris DiMarzio and Sean DiMarzio and daughter, Nicole DiMarzio of Pittsburgh, PA; siblings, Ken Wilson of New Mexico, Richard Wilson of Clarksburg, Betty Sears of Clarksburg and Barbara Deams of Clarksburg.
In addition to his parents, Robert is preceded in death by siblings Gerald Wilson and Lois Bias.
Family and friends will be received at Hastings Funeral Home, 153 Spruce Street, Morgantown, WV on Wednesday, February 6, 2019, from 10 a.m. until the time of service at 11 AM with Pastor Janice Smith officiating. Private family interment with full military honors will be conducted at the WV National Cemetery at a later time.
