Obituary of Frances Beulah Baliker
Frances Beulah Baliker, 96, of Star City, passed away on Sunday, February 3, 2019, at Home Away from Home Assisted Living Center in Grafton.
Frances was born on Aug. 18, 1922, in the Sunset Beach area of Cheat Neck and spent most of her life as a homemaker and a stay-at-home mom in Star City. Aside from this, she worked 15 years for Art Hahn at Allen Monument Co. as an office manager on South High Street. She was also a former member of the Morgantown Moose Lodge. After retirement, she moved to Friendship Manor and lived there for 16 years. When her health started to fail her, she moved into Home Away from Home Assisted Living Center in Grafton.
She is survived by, son, Danny, and wife, Kathy of Morgantown; granddaughters, Heather Kay Baliker of North Carolina, Sheri Leigh Glascock of Illinois; special niece, Willa Marie (Dolly) Cupp and husband, Charlie of Morgantown.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Frank Baliker in 1972; parents, Charles Kussart & Willa Mae (Ingram) Kussart; brother, Ralph Edward Kussart; sisters: Dorcus R. Kussart Harbert Davis, Barbara Jane (Kussart) Gumter, Olive Louise Kussart.
She was the last surviving member of her immediate family.
Family and friends will be received at Hastings Funeral Home on Friday, February 8, from 4 to 7 p.m., and again on Saturday from 10 a.m. until the time of funeral service at 11 a.m. with Pastor Dan Meadows officiating. Interment will follow at East Oak Grove Cemetery.
