Aunt Nora was not my aunt, but Rosemary's. Rosemary shared her Aunt Nora with me and others who were worthy of that quality relationship. Just being a friend of Rosey's got you "accepted" status with Aunt Nora; but soon enough she would let you know if she liked you...and I think she liked most people...and I am certain all who met her loved her very much. I had a few occasions to visit her with my sister and dear friend Rosey from time to time at the retirement home; Aunt Nora was always so friendly and inclusive in how she treated new acquaintances. On a few holiday dinners at Rosemary's house, Aunt Nora would join us...and just be the most respected and enjoyable person to be around. Interesting stories and comments and as sweet as anyone you'd ever want to share a holiday meal with. I know she will be missed by Rosemary and Billie...and by many others. All of us are thankful, that in this lifetime, we were blessed with knowing and sharing a moment with this wonderful woman. She wasn't my Aunt...but she sure seemed like one....missed by a man who did not know her well, but knew of her and respected her. She was warm and kind....just like love.
