I knew Sally See when I was a graduate student in Geology at WVU in the late 1960s. She was extremely well liked and helpful to everyone in Coal Research and to me personally both in my job there and in getting my thesis typed and finalized. She was a truly wonderful person. My heart goes out to her husband Larry and I offer my deepest condolences. Sincerely, Bill Gwilliam

Sally worked with my dad Richard for many years at the Coal Research Bureau. She used to watch me when I was a little girl and Dad had to go teach a class on days he brought me to work. She let me type and use white out and talked to me about Arnold on "Welcome Back Kotter " because she knew I liked the show. Years later, I had the privilege of reconnecting with her and meeting her dear husband Larry through our mutual friends Louise and Bill. Sally was a sweet Christian lady and she and Larry truly lived out their faith. Larry is in my prayers. Sally is now with my Dad and Bill where they are with the Lord.

I worked with Sally many years ago at the Coal Research Bureau. It was my first real job. I learned so much from her. Sally also played the organ very beautifully at my wedding. I was saddened to hear of her passing...I always thought we'd have time to catch up. Rest in Heavenly peace Sally. I'll never forget our times together. May God bless Larry and all Sally's family. My husband and I first met Sally about 10 years ago when we were searching for a church of Christ near Bruceton Mills and visited the Church of Christ in Kingwood, WV. Although we were living in Elkton, MD, we would visit this church whenever we were in the local area. We were warmly welcomed by this congregation and Sally would call us whenever we were home in Maryland to keep in touch and find out when we would be coming back again. Sally would always ask about everyone in our family, even our little dog, Jojo. The Kingwood Church of Christ quickly became our home congregation when we were at our home in Bruceton Mills.
Sally was a true "Prayer Warrior" and would pray with me over the phone about anything that was on my heart. Sally was concerned about other people's afflictions and put others above herself. Even though Sally had her own health issues to deal with, you never heard her complain. She always found the positive side of every situation. Sally was a loving, caring, generous and dear lady. She will truly be missed by all who had the privilege of knowing her.

Sally was a beautiful Christian lady. She lived out the road from me when we were growing up. We rode the same school bus everyday. She lived the life of a Christian always. My deepest sympathy to her family. Vickie Pugh Dennis

"Sally See, Sally Do" was the most beautiful person I ever met: she was always happy, she was always helping everybody and so loving and so caring. We worked together for many years. We never missed a deadline. Sally always put work ahead of herself. Our students used to come to see and to talk to Sally. Everybody loved Sally. We have been apart for over a decade, but I always knew Sally was at the end of a phone line. We were also looking forward to receiving her mailings with stories from her growing up. Don and I will miss you and we will always love you.

The first time I met Sally, I had my Duke, a large male Golden Retriever. She called him over and he wiggled his way to her. Now he could have towered over her as he did with many, but he seemed to know better with Sally...though she did get doggie kisses. The last time I heard her voice over the phone was the concern about my mom’s passing...I did not realize it was the last. I will miss her quarterly notes.love Wendy Barr

Sally was one of the first friends I had in Morgantown when I moved there in 1990. She and her husband Larry were always there when a helping hand or encouraging words were needed. Our last conversation was the evening before she left this world to be with her Savior......a great day for her, but oh, such a loss for those left to feel the daily void. I will miss you, my dear friend! Louise Fiske
