Jimmy Joe George, 63, of Morgantown, passed away peacefully in his home on January 11, 2020. He was born March 10, 1956, in Morgantown, a son of the late Arthur and Betty Jean "Maxine" George. Jimmy enjoyed riding his motorcycle and participated in many group motorcycle rallies for charity. He enjoyed cooking with his friend, Bobby and listening to music with his friend, Tyler. He played drums in the Suncrest Junior High School Marching Band and was a big WVU football and basketball fan. He is survived by his brother, Art George, and sister, Sharon Tatich. His dearly loved cat was his constant companion until the end. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his brother, Willis George. In keeping with his wishes, cremation arrangements have been entrusted to Hastings Funeral Home and there will be no public visitation. He loved all animals large and small.
