William “Bill” Corob, 83, of Morgantown, died on Tuesday, January 14, 2020, at J W Ruby Memorial Hospital. He was born on June 26, 1936, in Star City, WV, a son of the late Nicoli and Bertha (Stevens) Corob. Bill was known to serve the Lord and was a loving family man throughout his life. He was survived by his loving wife, Glenda (Nicholson) Corob; children: David, Tina, and Philip; stepdaughters: Trisha, Brenda, and Sharon; 14 grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren; and sister, Kathleen Spears. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two children, William E. Corob and Mary Jane Shank; and siblings: Nick, David, John, infant Robert, Olga, Frank, and Eddie. Family and friends will be received at Nicholson Chapel, Summers School Road, Morgantown, on Friday, January 17, 2020, from 6 – 8 pm and will continue on Saturday, January 18, 2020, from 10 am until the funeral service at 11 am with Reverend Kenny Reed and Reverend Francis Nicholson officiating. Interment will follow at Nicholson Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in his memory directly to the family at www.givingcompassion.care.
