I was a close friend of Barbara's about 50 years ago when she lived in Manhattan on the Upper West Side. She was very musical and told me she would see the notation in her mind's eye when heard the music. She loved the beach then as well, and she often spent weekends on Fire Island. She had a wonderful sense of humor and enjoyed laughing, and was a truly caring person. I'm sorry to hear she's passed, but she has a permanent place in my heart. Condolences to all who knew her.

I am sorry for you heavy hearts. I worked with Barb at Care Partners Home Health Agency. She was a delight to be around and really cared sbout her clients. Once she was going to the beach for vacation. I shared with her my love of the beach and she brought me back a beautiful conch shell. I still have that shell and think of her kindness when I see it. My prayers are with you.
