Kenneth V. Randolph, Jr., 73, of Morgantown, passed away Friday, March 27, 2020 at Mon Health Medical Center. He was born September 11, 1946 in Baltimore, MD, a son of the late Kenneth Vincent and Elizabeth (Bachman) Randolph. He was a member of Trinity Episcopal Church in Morgantown. He worked at the Controllers Office at WVU and was a founder of Pearand Corporation. He served in the United States Army from 1967-69 and was a member of Joseph W. Summers Lodge #173 AF&AM. He will be remembered for serving on the Morgantown City Council and as Mayor for several years in the 1980's. In his free time he enjoyed gardening, landscaping, travelling, and watching WVU sports and the Pittsburgh Steelers. He is survived by his wife of 48 years, Beverly (Nefflen) Randolph; children, Kenneth Vincent Randolph III and his wife Kelly, Shawn Denise Kelly and her husband Nick, and Russell Nefflen Randolph and his wife Mandi; seven grandchildren, Keira and Ian Randolph, Caleb Eldred, Brandon Kelly, Tyler Kelly, and Kaitlyn and Samantha Randolph; and sister, Janice Marlow and her husband Jeff. Due to the CDC recommendations, there will be a private family committal service take place at the West Virginia National Cemetery. At a later time, a public memorial service will be planned to celebrate his life with details to be announced. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Trinity Episcopal Church, 247 Willey St, Morgantown, WV 26505. Online condolences may be made to the family at www.hastingsfuneralhome.com.
