Brenda June Messenger, loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother left this earth for her eternal home on Friday, 3 April.

Brenda had a deep love for Christ and was a dedicated Christian. She worshipped at the Christian Missionary Alliance. She had a generous spirit and volunteered at church and the Morgantown Hospice. Brenda was an avid gardener who loved spring. She planted a wide variety of flowers and bushes so she could watch them bloom and attract birds and butterflies. She was also a fantastic cook and baker. The door was always open at “Mom’s Diner”.
Brenda was a fighter. She battled and defeated two different cancers, recovered from a stroke, survived a ruptured heart aneurysm, and endured several respiratory issues. She battled through the end and loved life. She will be dearly missed but never forgotten. She will be heartily remembered daily.
