I met Ilga in 1981 when I started studies at WVU and became Donna's assistant with the music program at St. Theresa's. I have fond memories of her - chats in the parish office, many Masses and rehearsals, NPM events, and a couple road trips. One of my most treasured possessions is an original icon of St. Michael the Archangel she gave me when I left Morgantown. May her memory be eternal. May she rest in peace.

It is many years since I have seen Ilga, but loved receiving her cards with her beautiful handwriting. I have wonderful memories of time shared at St. Theresa's with her. Heartfelt sympathy to the family.
I send my love and prayers to the family.. Ilga was my favorite resident at Sundale.. She was very sweet,Loving, and always would just smile when I would walk in to clean her room. She would always say. Let me go out in the hall until the floor dries. You work so hard to keep it sparkling and always keep it so clean for me. She would tell me how good of a worker I was and that she loved me and missed me when I wasn’t there.... I just love her.. She will be sadly missed... Fly high Angel..
