Sarah George has always had a special place in my heart I met her in 1965 as she hired me as a carhop at dog and suds drive-in. They were famous for the root beer and frosted mugs Coney dogs and very friendly atmosphere. She was a great mentor to all those who worked for her and cared about things that they done. Most all my brothers and sisters also work there and at one time my mom also. Through the years I’ve kept in touch with their not as much as I should of and didn’t visit as much as I should of but she was always a special person in my side and in my heart yes still yet today I have a picture of her that I keep on my refrigerator as a reminder of what a great boss she was in her time and how she cared for each and everyone of us. She was always generous loving And she always kept a good eye on us girls keeping us straight she will be dearly missed by all. Thank you Sarah George for being a part of my life Susie Cook and all my family till we meet again.
Dear Barb, Norm and Kara,
Our sympathy and prayers are with you during this time of loss. Aunt Sarah was such a part of your lives and she welcomed all of us as well; her heart was soft toward all and always ready to extend love and care. She was a special lady! Her legacy of love and generosity will be carried on by those like her. Surely she has been welcomed into Glory and has no more pain; the sisters are reunited and in that we can rejoice.
