I was Beverly’s roommate at Tuskegèe where we met on our counseling internship program. We worked night and day on many projects! There were 7 of us interns and we got to know each other very well...some of us better than others! Hers and George’s relationship blossomed into a marriage and a beautiful family! I crammed the coursework into one year because I had just married and half of my heart was elsewhere, but I am grateful for the time I spent getting to know Beverly. My heart grieves with those who loved her dearly.
Dorie and family,
I am so sad to read of the passing of your beautiful mother. We met while you were at Morgantown High. But, we always had so much to share about our children's lives at every encounter since your high school days. She was such a kind and wonderful person, that has given me so many beautiful memories. Please know that you are all in my thoughts and prayers.
