Obituary of Hazel McCord

Hazel L McCord, 96, passed away December 18, 2020 at her home.
Hazel was born on August 24, 1924 in Bridgeport, a daughter of the late Otto and Elizabeth Slawter.
Hazel was a member of the Morgantown Church of Christ. For many years, she enjoyed working at the church's Tuesday School Program with pre school children.
She is survived by her daughter, Pat Utt (Hutchinson) of Austin Tx, and her daughter Lauren Adams (Danny) of Morgantown. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Harold McCord, her daughters Anne Wood and Carol Jones, her son, Michael McCord and granddaughter, Rebecca Harvey.
Due to COVID-19, all services will be held privately with interment to take place at Olive Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Stepping Stones, 400 Mylan Park Lane, Morgantown, WV 26501.
