Sad to hear that John is no longer with us. I have good memories of him in the early days of the Dept of Clinical Oncology at the University of Glasgow and recollect his lively discussions with Remigio and Alan Baxter. I've attached a wee photo of John in the departmental library & tea room. Can't recollect if he's looking on or playing table tennis doubles with team-mate Richard Nicholson.
