Wally was a man of great knowledge in just about anything. If he didn’t know the answer he would almost certainly look it up and give you one.
He was always happy and you could always count on a smile and a wave.
He was a wonderful Man!

Wally was the best neighbor anyone could hope to have. Sitting on his porch, smiling and waving, he always had positive things to share as we walked our dog. Wally was one of the things we missed the most when we moved from Morgantown.

I didn't know Wally on a personal level, didn't even know his name but I passed him everyday on my bus route and he always had a smile and wave for me. I would watch for him on his porch if I didn't meet him along the way. I looked forward to that smile and wave and I am going to miss it so much. Passing his house won't be the same without him out on the porch. Rest in peace Wally and keep on smiling.
