Richard was at the Stonerise Nursing home when my mother was in there. He would always watch over my mom to make sure she was safe. He was like a grandfather to me. I enjoyed the day that I took him to the movies, because there wasn't room on the bus with others from the nursing home. I loved him like a grandfather. I would bring Gene and Richard hotdogs periodically and he always look forward to them. Covid has kept me from seeing him everyday, but one day we will meet again! Pam S..

Dick was a great friend to me. We were in the Stonerise Resthome together for almost 2 years. He made life bearable there. We played bingo together and shared a love of watching westerns together. I made it out and got back home but I still went and visited with him as much as I could. I always brought him bakegoods to eat which he was always grateful to get. I came to love and admire the man for all the things he has been through in his life. I'll really miss you my friend. Fly high my buddy. Elaine Eckes
