Have known Rick for just under 50 years. I met Rick for the first time at a card game at our mutual friend, Al Judy's house, and played cards and had fellowship with him on countless occasions since, sharing stories about the "good ole days" all the while. He will be surely missed. May God's peace and comfort be with Nancy in this difficult time.

Had the pleasure of working with Rick for many Years. He was a true Craftsmen in his work and the last of the true Great “Mechanics” at Ft. Martin.

Dear All,
Once upon a time I knew and ran with Richard.—-mostly playing ball. I lived down by the Westover Methodist Church but ran with Jimmy VanGilder, Frank Dipple and Steve Evenson.(sp). As I recall we’d get together at the Junior High and play baseball and football. That goes way back to the early 1960’s. Over the years we drifted apart. I still fondly remember all the good times we had as kids. I extent my sympathies to all who had the pleasure to know him

I will be forever indebted to Rick for his years of patience and willingness to pass on his vast knowledge as I learned the maintenance skills under his tutelage.
