One more issue is that video games are usually serious naturally with the primary focus on mastering rather than enjoyment. Although, we have an entertainment feature to keep the kids engaged, each game is normally designed to develop a specific group of skills or area, such as math or scientific disciplines. Thanks for your post. welcome to my website wcb gfi

I just learned of Mike's passing and I wanted to offer my condolences to all of Mike's family. I last spoke to Mike over a year and a half ago, he had heard about my son's mother passing and had said some reassuring words for me. I think about what he said to me almost daily. He is truely missed.Mark O'BoyleBishop Dwenger '82

I haven't seen Mike since his walk at IPFW in Fort Wayne a couple of years ago, so I was deeply grieved to learn he had passed away. I have the best memories of him from high school where we had a blast together. What a special, sweet, happy man, I'm glad he doesn't have to struggle any more. My family and I are thinking of you Paul, Judi and all the Dawley family. CC Griffith-Burke

I met Mr. Dawley when he came to Mountainview Elementary to support his children during my student teaching. I was fortunate enough to have both Emily and Paul in my host classes during my time at Mountainview, and it was clear they came from a wonderful family. The one moment with Mr. Dawley that sticks out in my mind the most was when he came in to assist in an assembly line activity. He shared his knowledge with the class, and the kids were completely engaged. I wanted to share this memory and offer my support through my thoughts and prayers for Mr. Dawley's family and friends.

Knowing Mike was a pleasure. I will always remember the fun times at the 500 and brickyard which I know he greatly enjoyed. I recall so many funny anecdotes that remind me of his vibrant personality and quick smile. I also know him as a good father and my wife and I offer our condolences to the children.

I am proud to have called Mike my friend. We first met in college through Bob Steigmeyer - Mike and Bob were high school friends. I have fond memories of times with Mike, including but not limited to parties at his Purdue bachelor pad, skiing on Lake George during summers, fishing with Mike and Jeff Eaton in Indy, spring break in Florida - Mike slathered in white zinc oxide from head to toe while playing volleyball on the beach, my bachelor party, our weddings, parties, visiting Bob in St. Louis and going to the Budweiser brewery and Cubs/Cards game, drinking beer, going to Pike Street Market together in Seattle, more recently hog hunting here in Texas, fly fishing the Elk River in W. Va., Mike's 40th birthday party, white water rafting the Gauley River, and last fall going to Cooper State Park. Mike lived a full and engaging life. Lisa and I could not attend the visitation and service, but our hearts and thoughts are with Paul, Judi, Paul, Emily, and the entire family. Mike, I will miss you, but will fondly remember the times we had together. Rest in peace, my friend.

Our deepest sympathy to the entire Dawley family.... To this very day I cherish and remember the wild and fun times that Mike and I, and Tom, Rich, Jim, Gary and John shared together as college roommates. From playing wiffle ball and softball, and going to the Indy 500 race and time trials, and the parties and road trips in the blue Oldsmobile to Wabash College, and Atlanta, GA Peach Bowl 1984, and the music that was so important to us. And don''t forget the truck accident and the Hay Ride. Good times from a long time ago. Mike,I will raise high a cold beer as a toast in your honor, and will listen to an old song from our party days, and I will never forget our times at 423 North Salisbury like sleeping on the roof, and parties in the attic. Mike, you were the life of the party! RedMan!! Hey RedMan!! Rest in peace my old friend. Jeff Ummel and family

Michael wrote in Frank's "guestbook", but I never had the chance to respond. I regret not doing that. However, Michael has been in our family's thoughts and prayers. Our connection was ALS and St. Francis de Sales. Our hearts go out to the family and friends. Michael was surely a man of great strength, courage, and determination!! God Bless.
