Mr. Bolyard was my cousin Betty Ann West's father in law at one time.I remember his son Dennis taking us to see Mr. Bolyard's many woodcarvings, dulcimers and violins he was working on. A very skilled woodcarver, I recall him giving me a piece of 2x12 in which he penciled out 3 mushrooms to practice on. I never had the patience he had for carving, but I did become quite good at furniture building. Last time I saw Mr. Bolyard was at My Uncle Bob (Simon)Betty Ann's dad's funeral. He will be missed
