Bob will be sadly missed, he has and had been a big part of my life, and helping me be how I am now, through having Camp Mountain Heart, starting in 1995. He has helped many over the years realize that we're not the only ones that have scars and thought they we different, but a family that has stronger bonds than anyone could imagine. He will truely and always be a great figure and family founder. That now he can look down upon everyone of us as our Guardian Heart Angel. Rest in Peace Bob, we love you!

My condolences to Chuck and his brothers. I grew up next door to the Hartley's on Willowdale Road, and remember fondly Bob and Emma Hartley, and how kind they were to a little nuisance boy next door. Bob had perhaps the biggest garden I have ever seen, and he tended it meticulously all year long. He was a kind gentleman, who I'll always remember. I am sorry to see he has passed, but what a wonderful legacy he left behind.Jim Parsons, Lexington, KY

We are sincerely sorry and deeply saddended by the passing of Bob. We enjoyed his company in the fall during football season when we set up our tailgate tent in the yard. We always appreciated his hospitality and enjoyed talking with him. We always made sure he was fed food from our tailgate. He will surely be missed by so many.

As a young man growing up in Morgantown and being a member of Drummond Chapel Bob was a role model with his business, church and softball activities.He was one of the good guys and it is painful to know he passed.
