Don and I go back so many years as members of HHB, 1/201st FA at Fairmont. He was a great comrad and friend, leaving me with wonderful thoughts and memories, as I'm certain you must have after all these years. Bluebird -- I'm so sorry to hear of Don's passing. Don and I were in the CAP together and had many good times together. He and I had a few disagreements, but that means that I don't miss him. Take comfort in the fact that his whole purpose in CAP (and in life I'm sure) was to help others. I'm sure he's trying to help others by looking down on those that he loved and guiding their steps. My Daughter Christina Kraft-Hanobeck and Son in Law, Ian Hanobeck were in Civil Air Patrol with Don when they were in High School. They really liked Don and they as well as I appreciate the guidance that he gave them as Cadets in CAP. His memory will live on in all of the cadets that he mentored over the years.
