Diane and family Sorry to hear about Hugo. We didn't see him often, but he had a great smile and a joke or two for all. What a great car he drove and took such good care of it. We know all of you will miss his smile and humor.

Mary Ann and Family. I just read of Hugo's death and wanted to assure you all that you are in my thoughts and prayers. He was certainly loved by many and his many goodnesses to others will be rewarded with a place in the lord's kingdom(although I think the good Lord will limit the numbed of jokes he can tell--for the rest of us who hope to join him.)I was so happy to see him at the wedding and assume he was in good spirits to the end. I will celebrate a mass for him here in Hampton in thr near future.God bless you all andPeace Fr. Carl Bauer

Aunt Mary--we are sorry we cannot be with you this week but our thoughts and prayers are with you and all of our family and friends in Morgantown. One of the things we remember about Uncle Hugo is his zest for life and his wonderful sense of humor. Of course Doug, Mike & Becky remember his 'cool' cars. Although he will be missed here by friends and family, heaven will never have vehicle problems and the angels will be forever filled with laughter.

The thoughts and prayers of your extended family are with you all. When I called our girls to let them know (in Seattle, San Diego and Hong Kong) they ALL said, "I remember Uncle Hugo used to always tell us jokes every time we saw him!". Uncle Hugo's memory and legacy will live on in the hearts of the many many lives he touched.

Dear Mary Ann and Dalzot familyKaren and I were deeply saddened to learn that a dear friend and a pillar in the Morgantown community had passed away. We felt blessed, however, that we had an opportunity to visit with him at a MHS football game last fall.Hugo was an absolute delight. Years ago I used to enjoy playing golf with him, and we enjoyed playing golf with you and him at the Friday evening couples golf outings. We always looked forward to hearing his most recent joke that he had for us.We deeply regret that it is not possible to pay our respects in person. Please know we are with you in spirit.Best wishes and much love. Bill/Karen Douglas
