I know this is many years later, and I don't know who will even see this message, but I knew Kristi (or KStar, as she was sometimes affectionally known) many years ago, in her WVU days. She was a passionate, and compassionate, person--brimming with love and life. I'm sorry to say I lost contact with her some time in the late 90s--that's often the sad way of life, paths converge, making a lasting impression, then diverge off into our own paths. Something recently made me think of her, so I looked her up on social media and learned of her passing. She was a good person who left a spark of joy into the world. To her family and friends, I know she is now experiencing the light of Ultimate Love and happiness. Eternal rest grant unto her, Lord, and may the Perpetual Light shine upon her,

Chuck, Sally, and Family We regret that it is not possible to be in Morgantown to celebrate Kristi's life. I will always remember her when she was an infant and you brought her to the WVU basketball games. I looked forward to seeing her as she passed through my gate in her daddy's arms. Kristi touched the lives of so many people. She will always be remembered. We love you very much. Bill and Karen Douglas

What a wonderful young woman with a colorful and loving heart. She was optimistic and spirited and best of all very huggy. I always envisioned her with a little hippy heart. She had that flower child essence and joy. Our loss is heavens gain..I'll miss you kiddo.
