Kristina (Kristi) Lynne Badger
Our beautiful Kristi is finally free to painlessly celebrate her welcome to heaven, rejoicing in the presence of her LORD. She departed this life May 15, 2013.
Kristi was born November 15, 1976 in Morgantown, WV. Her parents are Sarah (Sally) and Charles (Chuck) Badger. She graduated from Morgantown High School in 1994. Kristi attended the Art Institute of Pittsburgh until 1996. She then attended West Virginia University studying Children's Theatre and was able to study Puppetry, the love of her life. She had an internship in Shepherdstown one summer during which she participated in the Puppetry Workshops Festival. She accepted an internship at Disney World in May 1999. At Disney, she was a puppeteer at the opening of the Tapestry of Nations Celebration at Epcot. She also did a lot of puppet and character appearances. After a brief marriage, she moved to Tennessee. She was hired in 2002 by Wood N Strings, a touring puppetry company and was able to tour the U.S. She performed multiple times in Morgantown and Fairmont and participated in teaching local students how to make puppets. After touring for a couple of years, she was hired in 2005 by Kroll International (an international security firm). She worked at Kroll until diagnosed with cancer. While working for Kroll she bought her first home. Through her puppetry, religious music groups and work she made many special friends.
Kristi was preceded in death by her grandmother Alice King, grandparents, Charles and Lenora Badger, and cousin William Weinberger.
She is survived by her parents, her brother Charles Badger, sister Kimberly ReVeal and husband Andrew, her beloved nephew and nieces Lukas, Morgan, and Taylor ReVeal. She will be remembered by her many special friends that were an important part of her life.
Special thanks to her doctors, nurses, and many other special people who assisted in her care.
