Back when Robert and I began the opening of Power Alley Grill, Jan and I were designated to open the offices, hire, and begin operations. Our office space was down in the basement a short distance from the Power team locker rooms. At the time the farm team represented the Milwaukee Brewers. All of those fellas were so young. They are all Major Leaguers now. I remember a day early in the season. Jan's and I were buried in receipts, change orders, catering contracts, etc. a younger walked in and humbly asked us if our little town of Charleston WV had a synagogue. Jan happily answered, smiling at him. 'Why yeah, we're even big enough to have Two!' That young man was Ryan Braun, MLB star for the Brewers. He always stopped in after that to tell Jan hello.
