Uncle John, You were my best friend's dad and my uncle. Most of the memories that I miss the most about my childhood were at your house with Ellen and Gabe. You were definitely a "dad-like" influence growing up on me, Crystal, and Jamie. We loved you and Aunt Linda, but time and life faded how much we kept in touch. It's unbelievable to think it's been 15 years since that time. Thanks for coming to get me out of my house so many times and laughing with me about one of the reason I was leaving :) (other than to see Ellen). Thanks for treating me like your own child at times, like when you used to bring us back those chocolate star crunchies at the store, take us all to the laundry mat with you, or let me stay all summer every summer and on weekends when school was in. Your kids and wife clearly love(d) you. You were/are their world. I hope you've been proud of them because they've both made something out of their lives and they've been my inspiration to do more with mine as well. They're like my big distant siblings. Hope the after life is good to you. Bye Uncle John. Love your niece, Adam5 ;)

Dad it is been so long now since you left this world. I miss you more than ever. I am doing everything possible to take care of everyone. Mom, Ellen, Toni, Jayden and Chaz all miss you. When I was little I did not understand that my dad was actually an angel in my life guiding me to the next journey. I guess back then I had a lot to learn and was not prepared. My words cannot express how much you truly meant to me. Rest high on that mountain daddy!!! And I will step up and attempt to take care of things the way you always did. Respectfully, Gabe

I miss and love you so much dad. Not sure what to do without you. Every year we went to the fireworks together thus making it my favorite holiday. This year and the rest of my days on earth will never be the same without the man I called my "hero". I love you dad.
