Obituary of Rex Eldon Dalton

Rex Eldon Dalton, 71, of Morgantown, went home to be with the Lord on Thursday, June 26, 2014 with his loving wife of 42 years, Linda, by his side. He was preceded in death by his mother, Hazel Knicely; his father, Richard Dalton; and a son, Timothy Eldon Dalton. In addition to his wife, Linda, he is survived by a daughter, Ellen Dalton and her partner, Chris Pierce; a son and daughter-in-law, Gabriel and Toni Dalton; two grandchildren, Chaz and Jayden; a brother and sister-in-law, Gary and Mary Dalton; a brother, Verlon Knicely; and a sister, Dixie Blaney. Visitation will be held at The Lighthouse Cathedral Church, 2803 Old Kingwood Pike, Morgantown, on Monday, June 30th from 9:30 AM until the time of the service at 11 AM officiated by Pastor Jon Henry. Interment will follow at 2 PM Monday in the WV National Cemetery, Pruntytown with Full Military Honors. Hastings Funeral Home of Morgantown is in charge of the arrangements
