Janice, Larry, Rick and families,
We are so sad to hear of Aunt Jennie's passing. Lots of good memories, especially of her hearty laughter. She was such a great, fun-loving lady and will be missed by so many. My heart goes out to you in the passing of Jennie (Mom/Grandma). She touched many people with her kindness and caring. Know I am thinking of you and so sorry I cannot be there to give you a hug. My mom's sister, a wonderful person that was one of the sweetest persons on God's green earth. May her soul rest in peace. Because of distance, I didn't get to see her as much as I would have liked to,but I will miss her very much. A gentle soul that brought a feeling of well being and delight whenever she was around. Aunt Jennie was the welcoming smile and jolly laugh I recall from my childhood visits to Morgantown. I remember her sitting on the porch swing and chatting away with the adults. She would be sure to talk to each of her nieces and nephews too. We all loved Aunt Jennie and knew she loved us too.
She was modest about her gardening skills. My mom and Aunt Mary were always offered cuttings and plants from her flower garden. Those flowers were planted in our yard following Aunt Jennie directions.
Over the years she didn't change. Even when years went by between seeing her, she'd instantly be that same special, loving aunt.
